New-look 220 Triathlon website up and running 7 July 2009
|
| 220 Triathlon magazine has relaunched its website, 220triathlon.com, with a whole host of new features and interactive elements. |
The new-look site includes an embedded video service - ‘Tri TV’ - which brings users race footage and interviews with top athletes, as well as highlights from the annual 220 Triathlon seminars and awards.
The very latest kit on the market is tested and rated on the new ‘Gear’ pages, by 220 Triathlon’s respected, independent reviewers. Expanded ‘Training’ pages feature world-class coaching advice across the three disciplines of triathlon, alongside expert nutrition, women’s and beginners’ tips.
Blogs drawn from across the spectrum of triathletes, from top professionals to newcomers to the sport, will allow web visitors to compare their efforts with their peers and monitor their progress. The news page will be updated daily, bringing all the latest stories from the world of triathlon, while a forum and online polls allow visitors to get involved in the triathlon community and share their own training and race experiences.
James Witts, Editor of 220 Triathlon, commented: “Now in our 20th year, the magazine 220 Triathlon is acclaimed as essential reading for triathletes of all abilities. Our contemporary new look and fantastic new features are already proving to be a real hit with the tri community, as the increase in site visitors and page impressions already testify, and we are confident that 220triathlon.com will become the ultimate online triathlon resource.”
